The Japanese giant technology firm Toshiba along with anothe Japanese firm called Tokyo Electric Power look set to build a massive solar farm in Bulgaria generating a high volume of green energy.The new solar plant will start by generating fifty thousand kilowatts of power initially but this amount will rise to two hundred and fifty thousand once it is fully operational.
The current renewable energy levels in Bulgaria amounts to seven percent of its annual energy needs, but this solar farm looks set to increase Bulgaria's renewable energy percentage to sexteen percent of its annual energy usage.
Reports suggest the investment will amount to 1.2 billion Dollars. Toshiba said it will not comment on the reported solar farm.
