The Bulgarian property market boomed a few years ago but in current economic hardship the market is starting to bottom out, this does mean that those who have the finance to buy a property can get a good deal.
The foreign investors came to Bulgaria to make money on property investment, unfortunately times changed due to the economic downturn and many are left with empty properties and many properties are left half built by developers.
The current economic downturn has deterred foreign investors from the Bulgarian property market, not because of the Bulgarian property market itself, but mostly because of the financial issues faced in their respective countries.
We find that Bulgarians and other nationalities are suffering with economic hardship that is making every individual take stock of their personal finances and tighten their wallets. It is this move that has caused the Bulgarian property market to see prices fall and the slow decline to an almost halt of foreign investors.
It is believed that 2011 is the year that properties reduce to their lowest prices before the market will pick up at the end of the year, it may be then that foreign investors return to Bulgarian lands to make their property dreams a reality.
