Three Bulgarian nationals working as aircrew for the UN have been kidnapped in Darfur, within Sudan.
The three Bulgarians were reportedly working as part of a Helicopter aircrew and were at an airstrip when armed gunmen kidnapped them. The kidnapped Bulgarians had been in the Darfur region working for the UN World Food Programme.
The three were kidnapped late on Wednesday evening, seventy five kilometres south east of the Darfur city of Geneina.
