The Mayor of Kardzhali has approved for repair the water supple network in the area of St. Kliment Ohridski. Every Winter there are issues with the water in the St. Kliment Ohridski area that causes the citizens many water supply problems, this is further compounded by potential landslides that are also a threat because of the water work conditions.
The governer of the region Ivan Taushanova said of the repair work: "We have agreed with the mayor Hasan Azis and management of the Works that the repairs will be executed until operations are completed to the satisfaction of the Acceptance Committee and to provide management of water and sewerage,"
He went on further to say that he had advised Minister Rosen Plevneliev that the former supply and sewerage owner had not had the foresight to review the long term financial policy of the water works.
The waterwork repairs are expected to cost in the region of 500,000 BGN.
