Weather is start to take a turn for the worse in north eastern Bulgaria and it has meant that the government agencies have issued a code yellow situation to make travellers alert to the possible dangers.
The north eastern regions of Bulgaria have seen snow in recent times, but the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology has said that the weather will change will light rain forecast under cold temperatures.
As the snow has not melted in many regions of north eastern Bulgaria, the rain will cause roads to become icy and trecherous for driving conditions.
In recent times there have been quite a few road accidents attributed to icy conditions, this was most evident over the Christmas period when quite a few large car accidents happened around Sofia Airport.
